Swayamvar season 2 promos have started with a music video. Rahul is looking good in the ad along with the pretty girls.

Seasoned with peppy beats, catchy lyrics and dances, Rahul’s music video is all set to make your feet groove to his tune. All the naach-gaana-bajaana that adds to the wedding flavor has been kept alive by choreographer Devang Desai, who matches steps to Rahul’s beat. Taking the Swayamvar Season 2 to a different level, the music video is designed specially to build up the much-anticipated Rahul Dulhaniya Le Jayega.

Talking about his experience, Rahul Mahajan says, “I am extremely honored to have a music video made in my name and I thank NDTV Imagine for this. I never ever thought I would be dancing on screen with a bunch of beautiful talented ladies and that too for a music video! This entirely new and innovative approach by the channel caught my interest and I am very excited to be a part of it.”

Rahul The politician is very skeptical when it comes to marriage thus he is making no stone unturned to make it successful. He has consulted his astrologer before selecting the girls for his swayamvar. “He has even postponed the dates of the airing of the show on the channel according to the astrologer,” tells a source.

Rahul has shown the kundali’s of the girls who will be participating in the show. He believes in all this a lot and especially after his stint in the Bigg Boss 2. Rahul is seriously looking out for a right life partner for himself but marriage is still a question mark,” adds the source. The title of the show is given as "Rahul Dulhaniya Le Jayega" and is supposed to run for two and half months. Although Rakhi had no swayamvar so let’s wait and watch whether Rahul is also goint to take awat the Dulhan or not.

NDTV Imagine's upcoming sequel to Rakhi Ka Swayamwar based on Rahul Mahajan's search for his ideal girl, appropriately titled 'Rahul Dulhaniya Le Jayega', breaks the original show's record even before it's launched!


According to our source, "Rahul Dulhaniya Le Jayega has received 16755 entries in just 25 days! So that's an average of around 670 entries per day. The entries have arrived through phone, email, SMS and even personal deliveries to the NDTV Imagine office in Mumbai. The applicants are an eclectic group. The girls come from diverse fields such as medicine, teaching, engineering, art and some are even students!"

Adds the source, "New Delhi tops the list with 5063 entries whereas Mumbai stands second with 4188 entries. Entries have come in from various other cities including Kolkata, Lucknow, Chandigarh, Jaipur, Nagpur, and Ahmedabad. NRIs too are not far behind with numerous enties pouring in from Dubai, London and USA. The contestants mostly belong within the age group of 22 to 26 years."

Rahul is obviously taken aback but also elated with the response. He says, "I am happy with the response and I'm looking forward to finding my life partner with whom I can begin a new journey."
